Brain Train to Athens is a no-brainer, and would introduce a car alternative for the Athens-Atlanta (and points between). This would also hook into the Beltline and Marta (and the Clifton corridor) providing additional volume to each.
Widening roads is not the solution. Who wants to be stuck in traffic multiple hours each day!
